.At 12:04 AM, the Nishita Puja begins inside the Janmabhoomi Temple the exact place where Krishna is believed to have been born. The idol of the newborn Krishna is bathed in panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar), dressed in silk garments, and placed in a golden cradle. Devotees rock the cradle while singing “Nand ke ghar anand bhayo”, creating an electrifying yet deeply spiritual atmosphere. Mathura are glowing with colorful lights, marigold garlands, and intricate rangoli designs. Major temples, including Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, are adorned with flowers, bright fabrics, and shimmering diyas. The air is filled with the sound of conch shells and devotional music.
